Eurocup2012 Experience
submitted by Richard for Plaza Flamingo Nightclub on July 3, 2012
My GF and I went to Plaza for the Eurocup2012 and after paying a ridiculous $20 for entrance and spending over $200 in drinks, we ended up outside the club after going out for some air, not being allowed back into the club. Even thought we had the stamp on our hands, the bouncers were extremely rude with the PF owner standing at the door with a stupid grin on his face, not doing a thing about either the situation or the rude security treatment of the paying customers. It goes without saying that although PF has gone through extensive renovations and change of ownership, it remains one of the worst Latin clubs in TO. Last time I will visit this pitiful establishment. Stay tuned for the Facebook and Twitter write up.
Very Disapointed !

We went for the dinner and dance on a Sat night. The show was lame, and the food diapointing. The steak grizzley, the pasta under cooked. The dinner cost us $250.00 for four people, and you have to order off their show menu. I have never in my life felt so ripped off.

I went here on a saturday night with some friends, and i had one of the best nights there! The instructor for the lessons was very charismatic and funny, which made for a great lesson. There was ample seating for when one needed to rest worn out, heel-clad feet. Unlike most clubs that don't get busy until 11:30 or 12, this place was already rocking when the lesson ended at 10:30 and the floor was open to anyone. The music was great with a nice mix of salsa, merengue, bachata and club music. The dance floor was a good size, although it was pretty busy so there was the occasional bumping into people. Drinks were priced like any club: a little on the expensive side, but that was expected. However, the majority of people go there to dance and not to drink all that much. All in all, it was a fantastic time, and I will most definitely be going there again soon.
