Amazing Girls Night Out
submitted by Christina T for Brant House on May 2, 2013
I have been going to Brant House for years and I can't believe that this place is still going strong. It's a testament to their incredible service & atmosphere.
Went this past Saturday with 8 of my girls and we were escorted right in by Ari the VIP Host. He even took us to the bar and had the bartender poor us all a glass of bubbly. He really didn't have to but it made for a great start to our night. Great music and the clientele older and very mature. Not your typical Toronto Club crowd. Everyone is there to have a good time...
Definitely going back soon and going to make reservations for dinner.

I went to Brant House last night for the first time and I loved it. The bouncers I agree are very pretentious. There was no line at 11pm and walked straight past them. It was dead inside, but got packed fairly quickly. They were giving away free shots. I met some cool people there. The music was ok - snippets of pop remixes - I hate how they only play one verse of a song, but other than those little things - I had a great night. Some people were there when it was a restaurant, so they were having a good old time dancing together in their casual clothes :)
Great

Went this place twice... Always filled with mid age men in suit so i looove it. But then it can be hit or miss, some guys were unattractive even after few shots of jager-furthermore poorly dressed also tend to drool on women a lot with their 'rapie' glare. But its still better than other places in toronto.

Until I read the reviews
submitted by Marie Manroe for Brant House on April 30, 2013
I easily spend thousands every month on social events.
And I have to say that I value the publics reviews and would NEVER go to the brant house.
Based on the reviews I can just imagine that the apple doesnt fall far from the tree, and that lower than the securities behaviour, comes the owner that pays them every week.
I hope your business goes under and that your bouncers go back to jail, where they fit in.... just right!
Beware Horrible bouncers

Me dancing around, and get stopped with unnecessary force told to calm down. At least the crowd and music were great.

Women, if you respect yourselves, avoid this place!
submitted by James for Brant House on December 8, 2012
Bouncers at Brant House have no respect for women! Bouncers are aggressive ignorant thugs! Slipped heels off after a long day at work and was actually pushed - not escorted -out of the venue by bouncers. No concern was given to belongings at table and no opportunity was granted to retrieve aforementioned possessions. Thrown outside - blazing red arms from physical force as evidence - unable to return for property.
TPS completely useless, as usual. Must, and will, go over TPS's head for vindication.
The long and short of this post...women, if you respect yourselves, avoid this place...men, if you respect your women, stay away!
Will keep you posted!

Screw Brant House
submitted by Femme for Brant House on March 17, 2012
Because of one fucking bouncer, he thinks he knew it all. Fucking know it all thinks I was too drunk to get in. WTF. Brant house was my fave until this fucking dick came along. I wanna fuck over his life! His name is Mike apparently and Paul said I had to listen to him, screw that shit!!!! If I'm willing to get in and PAY the money - screw that shit. I've always had a good time in Brant until Nazi number 20,900,063 came along!
Service
submitted by ange for Brant House on March 17, 2012
I like the atmosphere of the place and the music but the bouncers are very discriminative and should learn to keep their rude comments to themselves. There is nothing high class about this place to be so judgemental of the way people look. Bouncers should get some etiquette courses.
Main Door Guy Rude
submitted by Carol for Brant House on January 13, 2012
I just wanted to say I don't mind the Brant House, Actually kinda like it but every time I have gone there the main door guy that I have seen there for years is always rude. I don't like the way he talks to people. Not only my friends and I but I have been in line and seen the way he talks to other people. He has to remember that you have people in their low 30's making good money looking to spend it and we don't need some guy at the door making us feel like nothing. Sorry for the rant, but its a shame the owner doesnt replace him. I think I saw him on a Tassimo Commercial??? What a jerk!
Sigh...

I love going Brant House. But this Wed I went and it was some sort of christmas event so cover was 20. FINE. Better be good. Club was half empty. Well it was wednesday, couldn't complain. I could put up with all the issues but music that night was un-dance-able!! DJ was completely high on something because he was playing what HE wanted to listen to!! (Do that with ur buddies and sixpacks!! Or whatever you're taking!! ) by the time he played typical wal-mart modern rock tracks i really wanted to kick him in the balls. Please fire this dj immidiately Brant house. I really hate to see some lame music destroying your place :(
THE BOUNCERS ARE IDIOTS
submitted by elliot for Brant House on December 24, 2011
The bouncers are idiots, rude and destroy the entire experience. Who needs to be harassed by a bunch of goons when they go to the Brant House. They should be fired and hire some people who actually have class and know how to treat people with respect.

Nice Place, Not so Nice Service
submitted by Arlene for Brant House on November 8, 2011
It's great that you can eat and party at the same place. Club is nice, music is great but the service was not the greatest. Charged cover although we were on an exclusive no cover guestlist, bar tenders not at all friendly.
Moral of the story

Biff... exaaactly my thoughts. Who the hell wants to hang out with a bunch of chicks with feather boas and veils? Ladies... you did the right thing by going to Devil's; a place that true Torontonian's avoid like the PLAUGE! They let any heffer with a veil in there. THANK YOU Brant house for maintaining a standard. Once the bachelorettes come in.... most people high tail it outta there and never come back. Ever.
And 15 separate bills? WTF? Idiots.

WTF biff nakde ... no one asked for that, why don't you stop being an asswhole and go back to the dirty states if your going to be like that.
Never been to the brant house. Debating going. Lol
this is the problem with toronto clubs
submitted by biff nakde for Brant House on September 4, 2011
In reference to the last comment, who in the world asks for 15 separate bills!!!! That is a high school special, to girls like that, stay in woodbridge for your "bachelorette" parties. A word to the wise.. as soon as you see a party like that at a club, its time to go.. That represents the lamest party atmosphere. You would never see that at real clubs in New York or Miami.. Toronto is such a wannabe club town, bewtween Muzik and Brant it is all 905ers with 10 packed into their parents mini vans!!!
Brant House - can't wait until it goes out of business
submitted by Daniella for Brant House on August 24, 2011
Worst experience ever !!! Went to a bachelorette party there for dinner followed by dancing. Got there and they confiscated the bride's feather boa and veil stating it was against the dress code. Refused to do separate bills for a party of 15 but were willing to take 15 separate forms of payment..were they unable to do the math ?? We had reserved a booth for bottle service and were told it would be $240 plus tax and gratuity. When time to pick the bottle we were told it was a 3 bottle minimum. We were never told that at time of booking. After talking to the manager we were told we could do 1 bottle but we couldn't have a booth...only a table to stand at, without chairs..yeah right !!! Still tried to make the best of it until we saw another bride (blonde hair, blue eyes and very drunk) wearing her veil. Confronted both the hostess and the manager regarding the double standard. The manager said he talk to security but we didn't wait around to see the end result. We left around the corner to Devils Martini and were treated like royalty. The manager greeted us at the door, covered our entrance fee (party of 15) and got us a booth and bottle for $200 total !!! Thanks to Devil's Martini it ended up being an awesome night.....as for Brant House....will celebrate when they go out of business.........

Worst experience
submitted by Julia for Brant House on July 6, 2011
Went there for my bachelorette. Dinner was great and the place was nice. The assholes at the door ruined the experience. We had 1 girl meeting us after dinner. She came at 10:30 and couldn't get in.
When I went to the door to ask for them to let her in (we were willing to pay cover) they told me "she needs to wait in line and she'll get in eventually".
Seriously one girl alone on guest list can't get in when it's empty inside. Brutal. I told them I was going to the door just to say bye to her cause she wasn't waiting in a line up alone they told me I wasnt aloud and if I tried I would have to leave and not come back in.
Most unprofessional young punks I have ever seen. Will never go back.
horrible
submitted by mary for Brant House on June 20, 2011
bouncers / security make you wait in line for "show".... there really isn't any hold up nor is it packed inside... on top of that-- the guys who work at the door are assholes!! they only let their "friends" and the rest had to wait for an hour to get in
will not go back there ever again...
Waste of time and money
submitted by Helen for Brant House on November 14, 2010
There are SEVERAL reasons why this mediocre lounge is a waste of your time and money, particularly if you're on guest list. Yesterday night, I held my birthday bash at Brant where I reserved 30 people on guest list. The first five people were guaranteed to get in without cover; the remaining 25 had to pay $10.
So, I got there with 6 other people at 10:30 pm. Pretty early if you ask me. The good thing was there was no lineup but the bouncer claimed that I wasn't even on guest list. So, I peered into the list myself, and lo and behold I was indeed on the list. No biggie, "mistakes" happen. There was also a note verifying that 30 guests were expected. But, when we actually got in, I was unamused to learn that we had to pay $10 cover. What's the point of encouraging people to come early if there's no reward?!
Anyways, about half an hour later, I find out that most of my friends are stuck in line with over an hour wait to get in. So, I talk to the bouncers directly, trying to understand what's with the hold up. They not only rudely tell me to go back inside but question why/how I have so many people on guest list. Ummm, if you ask me, that's a lot of business coming from my party alone. The place wasn't even busy at the time either.
Not only did they refuse entry for my friends who were already on guest list but they refused another one of my guy friends for not dressing "up to par." Granted there's a dress code but seriously telling me that my friends have to wait in line for an hour is absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable.
That's just poor business management needing MAJOR PR to reprimand this situation. Not to mention, half of my friends who came are in PR including myself.
