Is this a good place to party? Im going to be coming u of toronto this sept and i need to know if this is a good place im coming from a small town in outside hamilton and i hope this is a good spot!
Worst club EVER

Would give zero stars if i could. This club is probably the worst club i have ever been to. My boyfriend, two friends and myself went on a saturday for one of their halloween events. We bought bottle service and we were sitting down where the couches were.
Two random girls started arguing and at the critical moment, my boyfriend stood up to refill my drink. One of the bouncers/security grabbed my boyfriend and told him to calm down....
My boyfriend was so confused, he didn't know what they were talking about. So he asked, "why are you grabbing me? What did i do?" the bouncers thought he was being aggressive so three bouncers just grabbed my boyfriend, trampled him and one of the bouncers wrapped their arm by my boyfriends neck and threw him out of the club for no reason.
I stood up to ask what was wrong so i grabbed the bouncer by his shoulder and he pushed me onto the couch and said "don't touch me!".
How could someone especially a man push a woman when all i was asking a question because they threw my boyfriend out for no reason....
Some random people came up to me to ask if i was okay but i obviously went after my boyfriend, balling my eyes out because it wasn't a pretty site for me to see..
He was livid. We were all so careful picking which club to go and celebrate halloween and sadly we chose fiction. We regret coming here because we always hear that the fiction bouncers are abusive, especially to the women. We thought they were over reacting, but sadly, they weren't.
I understand that the bouncers are just doing their job to protect but they can't just jump to conclusions just because my boyfriend is a man and that was the first thing that the bouncers saw when two girls were fighting with each other...It's just really sad.. I have been to many clubs and this has never happened to both of us.
The funny thing is, those girls stayed at the club and didn't even get kicked out.
How we knew? After they threw my boyfriend out of the club, we had to call a cab to come and get us, and we saw those two girls laughing, taking pictures and talking with the bouncers. It's just pathetic.
Next time, i should just stick and listen to the people's reviews, because they are definitely not lying.

The bartender suuuuucked last night, she overcharged for drinks and when confronted she said she includes her tip.. Uhm what? Music wasnt that great either, would not recommend

I wish there was an option to give this club 0 stars. Horrible horrrrrible horrible!!!!!!!!!! They tried to finesse us of all our money!! Its free for ladies before 11 me and my friends came at 10:45 and had to pay 15 fucking dollars!!!! And on top of that coat check, for a shitty night. We got kicked out for drinking juice! And didnt believe us so they made us pay another $20 just to get back in! So in total each person paid 25 fucking dollars for a shitty night. We went back inside and tried to have fun but that just ruined our mood. Plus the lady that kicked us out was extremely touchy and extremely disrespectful and rude. Plus there are no seats so we went to the basement and sat on the floor and they kicked us out from there too! We legit werent allowed to do anything, i felt like i had to ask them permission to breathe as well! Many people warned me bout this club and told me not to go but i decided to give it a chance and i regret it! I will definitely be telling everyone i know about my terrible experience and i will make sure no one that i know goes to fiction ever again!

If you're looking for a good place to be harassed /assaulted by douchebags and have the security not give a shit, this is the place to be! Love hearing the same 4 boring "remixes" over and over? Look no further! Enjoy clear violations of fire code and being crammed into way too small a space to attempt to dance to aforementioned boring (and choppy) music? Fiction is the place to be! Worst bar experience of my life, but hey, as i was told while leaving "you're at a bar, you should expect to be harassed."

Before we decided where we were going for my friends birthday, i had told her i heard alot about fiction, mostly that the music was awesome there, a few of my friends said the best djs in the city play there. However when we went this past weekend, (may 6,7) it was the total opposite. We were downtown on friday and went by, it was all 16-18 year olds and the dj was terrible. We didnt mind as much cause a employee there told us it was better on saturdays, and since we had already planned to be there on saturday we didnt mind, but when we went back the next day, the dj was even worse, and much of the same 17,18 year olds were there. I asked the dj if i could request a song, he said no, and then played the same songs over again. My friends wanted to go to bloke, but i was so sure that atleast the music would be better, but it was terrible, and boring. Its a shame, cause i actually like this club, but hopefully it will get better.

Worst club i have ever been to! The line was over an hour. Club was too packed, they let too many people in. No room to dance, the guys were gross, and disgusting. Bouncers were rude af. Coat check is hell, waited an hour to get our jackets back (prob over an hour)!! Never ever ever attending this place again jesus christ. Dont waste ur time ppl, go somewhere decent this was by far the worst place i have ever been. Body english was better than this. Lol! By the looks of it this club wont be lasting too much longer.

I wouldn't say it is the best club ever. But i had really good experience. The guys are pretty hot lol. It was my birthday, and we got bottle service. The reason why i am not giving a five start cuz the service was a bit of slow. I understand it was busy, but still. Especially it was someone's birthday lol. Crazy night there, good music, nice crowd. Pretty big line tho. Even we got vip we still had to wait for like 5 mins. This guy calvin who we booked the bottle service from ran out form the club right away he saw my phone call and said sorry. Overall it was all perfect. I will go back there for sure.

Honestly , this is the worst place i have ever visited .. Exorbitant pricing and cover the bouncers think they can assault people without provocation > a bunch of cowards that gang attack you from behind , choking , punching .. Rude and nasty i can't believe they actually get away with it .. Seriously , if your looking for a good time don't waist your time at fiction .. This place will probably be the site of a tragedy eventually and you might get caught in the crossfire .

First, notice how all the positive reviews are written by someone trying to sell you bottle service. Clearly they work here. This club rots to hell. I was promised not to have to wait in line on nye because of a 'vip' pass, however, the bouncer was a prick and would not let us in. We paid an extra $25 for this pass, which was never honored. The people who work here are soul-lacking warlocks who will kick you out if you ask why you paid money for nothing. If you are considering going here you are making a mistake. A friday night would be better spent watching videos of dogs taking shits then eating it. The entrance of this place reeks scum bags stealing your money; promising you a good time and giving you a night that you will remember only because of how crappy it was. The bar next door, however, is a great time. The staff is friendly and drinks are fairly priced.

Worst club i've ever been too. I bought vip passes through a club crawl for nye and was promised that i would not have to wait in line. The club made us wait in line in the freezing cold along with all of the other people who did not pay for the passes and when i asked the bouncer about it he was very sarcastic and rude. Once i got in the club i asked for the manager and the manager completely blew me off. He kicked me out without even trying to give me an explanation. He also had a very rude and sarcastic tone, never have i been treated so poorly by management in my life. Would never go back. Also friends who went inside told me it was crowded, not fun, and they weren't given the free champagne toast that we were also promised.

Hundreds of teens bought tickets last night but were not allowed in because they sold many more tickets then there capacity. This place is a rip off. Dont waste your time. They dont care about anything but money. Stay away from this place unless you are really stupid. .

The worst club i've ever been to. Me and my friends got assaults and then ganged up on by 6 bouncers who had two people in choke holds. An extreme use of unnecessary force. Just another bouncer power trip, after we had already agreed to leave. Don't go unless you're looking for a fight. Horrible human beings.

Umm went to fiction like 3 times had bottle service and went for friends birthdays too. Never seen sloppy drunk people or fights or drunkness. Best crowd, people with class, no ghetto trash. Show me a decent club downtown with cheaper drinks lol

The club is really nice and the management team makes sure to keep the place that way. However they're drinks are way overpriced. $8 for a shot of whiskey? And they're water down their drinks to the point I thought I was drinking water with cranberry juice instead of vodka.
The music was on and off, some hits and misses and the crowd was filled with drunken girls falling all over each other. Not cool.

I've been there a few times, most of the times the club is almost packed but I've been there one or two times on some slower nights.
Overall it's a very decent club with the bottle prices. $150 before gratuity. Definitely recommend it to others to try it at least once!

Went there on both friday and saturday. Fridays are always good, bright and beautiful crowd. saturdays are usually 25+, crowd is not always consistent. after 5 years of clubbing experience, slammed places with no oxygen and drunk trashy people got tiring. fiction is something different and fresh. stuff is super nice and attentive, the beat is good.

My girlfriend invited me to go for her bday party there. She got a booth through promoters and they gave her comp champagne and 9 comp passes. other ladies got in for free before 11 30. very nice and friendly stuff (except the bitchy blond bartender). bottle service was a bit slow. fiction is not that big but super nice inside, looking proper and classy.
Young professionals crowd, super nice people, great place for contacts. I would not say its top 40, we had a lot of house music playing that night also.

The bartenders try and rip you off. Myself and a few of the people i was with had bartenders try and short change us, it happened to me three separate times. Watch out, don't let them get away with it.
